Het stadion wordt ook gebruikt voor concerten en evenementen. Het multifunctionele superstadion heeft niet alleen een verschuifbaar dak maar ook een verplaastbaar grasveld, het voetbaldveld krijgt op deze wijze voldoende zonlicht. De betonnen vloer binnen kan gebruikt worden voor manifestaties e.d. zonder dat het gras beschadigd.
Gelredome, covered football stadium in the district Elden with Vitesse as home club. The stadium is also used for concerts and events. The multipurpose super stadium has a moveable roof and a movable field, this way the football field gets sufficient sunlight. The concrete floor inside can be used for events without the grass being damaged.
