Dit slotenpatroon van gerende verkaveling is ontstaan ten tijde van de ontginning in de middeleeuwen.
The Polder Rondehoep (or Polder Round Hoep), one of the largest undeveloped pasture area's in the Randstad with characteristic star-shaped pattern. This pattern is the result of the extraction during the Middle Ages.
