De zeewering bij de kust van Callantsoog was een van de Zwakke Schakels in de kust, om de dijk te beschermen is er door middel van zandsuppletie een strand met neiuwe duinen aangebracht voor de dijk. Project Kust op kracht van het Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier.

Camperduin, Hondsbossch and Petten dam. The seawall is one of the weak links in the coast. To protect the dike, sand nourishment has been used to create a protecting beach.
