Het publieke leven in het centrum van de hoofdstad is bijna geheel stil komen te liggen als gevolg van het Corona virus. Niet alleen is alle horeca dicht, ook veel winkels en andere bedrijven zijn gesloten. Het publiek blijft over het algemeen binnen, de straten en pleinen zijn stil.
A virtually deserted Museumplein, Museum square. No crowds of tourists or day trippers. Rijksmuseum, Van Goghmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, Concertgebouw are closed.
Public life in the center of the capital has come to a complete standstill as a result of the Corona virus. Not only are all pubs, coffee shops and restaurants, closed, many shops and other companies are also closed. The public generally stays inside, the streets and squares are very quiet.
