Siebe Swart is gespecialiseerd in panorama en luchtfotografie, zijn werk richt zich op het door de mens gemaakt landschap. Op deze site staan meer dan 25.000 luchtfoto’s, door middel van de zoekfunctie kunt u direct het online-archief raadplegen (zie bovenstaand hamburger menu, veld keywords). De landschappen en stadsgezichten zijn gefotografeerd vanuit de helikopter of met de drone. Verder staan op de website het project TIME and TIDE, zwart-wit panorama's van de Nederlandse kust (inclusief boek). Voor het buitenlandse vervolg, FINISTERRE, is gefotografeerd langs de kusten van Denemarken, Duitsland, Frankrijk en Spanje - met de drone en in kleur. The landscapes and cityscapes were photographed from a helicopter or with a drone. Also on the website is the project TIME and TIDE, black and white panoramas of the Dutch coast (including a book). For the foreign sequel FINISTERRE, photographs were taken along the coasts of Denmark, Germany, France, and Spain - with a drone and in color. Time and tide is het logboek van een persoonlijke ontdekkingsreis langs de Nederlandse kust. Het project is een weerslag van omzwervingen langs de kustlijn, bij eb en vloed, bij nacht en ontij, invallende duisternis of opkomende zon. Een fotografisch dagboek genoteerd in zwart-wit. De weidsheid en leegte van de kust gevat in panorama’s, vastgelegd tegen de achtergrond van de dreigende zeespiegelstijging, langs de kust van de Noordzee, de Waddenzee en de (voormalige) Zuiderzee. Het werk is geëxposeerd in Museum Panorama Mesdag (Den Haag 10/2021 - 08/2022). Het boek “Time and tide wait for no man” heeft een eigen site, met boekwinkel. Finisterre is het vervolg van het project Time and tide maar nu buiten Nederland. Er is gefotografeerd in de periode najaar 2021 - voorjaar 2024 langs de Atlantische kusten van Denemarken, Duitsland, Frankrijk en Spanje. Maar niet alleen de locaties zijn anders, ook de fotografische benadering laat een andere aanpak zien. Ten eerste is de panorama fotografie verleden tijd, ten tweede wordt er overwegend in kleur gewerkt. En last but not least, het fotograferen met de drone heeft zijn entree gedaan. Daarom is er in de laatste fase van het project ook weer langs de Nederlandse kust gefotografeerd, zie bijgaand portfolio. Finisterre heeft een eigen site, zie hamburger menu. ➔ Finisterre, also known as Time and tide part two, is the continuation of the project, but outside the Netherlands, along the European Atlantic coasts of Denmark, Germany, France and Spain. But not only the locations are different, the photographic approach is also different approach: panorama photography is a thing of the past and I work no longer in black and white but predominantly in color. 'Topografie van het Nederlands landschap' is een langlopend project met als doel om de verschillende landschappen die Nederland kent te inventariseren. Een inventarisatie die duidelijk laat zien hoe het Nederlandse landschap bij uitstek man-made is, het resultaat van menselijk ingrijpen. Door het landschap niet vanaf maaiveld niveau te fotograferen, maar vanaf enkele tientallen meters hoogte, wordt de interactie tussen de verschillende aspecten van het landschap zichtbaar en wordt en het kunstmatige karakter van het landschap in beeld gebracht. 'Topografie 'is een meerjaren project, begonnen in 2023. This inventory that clearly shows how the Dutch landscape is eminently man-made, the result of human intervention.
